Custom Long-Arm Quilting
Welcome to Black Bear Quilting
We offer long arm quilting services from simple stipple to complete
custom. We have over 150 pantograph patterns to choose from along with vast
inventory of stencils of all sizes and shapes plus a huge thread selection.
The black bear in Black Bear Quilting is Cathy Keevill. She has been
quilting since 1988 and a long-arm quilter since 2004. With over 300 quilts
long-armed to date, many have been unique works of art pieced by her
numerous clients some award winning creations.
Cathy has received two awards for her quilting with the most recent from
the 2008 Creative Stitches show in Calgary where an entry entitled "The
Purple Monstrosity" pieced by Deb Domin and custom quilted by Black Bear
Quilting won First Place in the Innovative Large category.
This fall Cathy quilted a quilt for Lizzy Anne Designs and Patti Young
for Michael Miller Fabrics that was displayed at Quilt Market in Houston,
Texas.
Cathy does all her own quilting as well as the quilting for her pattern
company Pine Freckle Forest.
